Unidentified
I see a simple light in the sky
It’s been sitting there for hours and hours unidentified
As it starts to shine on me I start to think I’m floating up
But when I stop to look it seems I’m even deeper inside my own head
I turn my head and I close my eyes
And everything I say to myself, my self soon defies
Then I think to myself what if I
What if I never met you, I never saw you, I never told a lie
Now every day just seems to pass me by
Everyone is the same because they’re not you and that’s my point
Now I stare into space with eyes wide
Travelling straight ahead so I don’t intersect with things that I once left
behind
Maybe that simple light was a blessing in the skies
Cuz now I know what to look for when I see you
